Born in Manila to German parents; raised in Singapore, educated in Shanghai, Sydney and Berlin.

I tend to write about digital bits and pieces (although not as much recently) and about longer runs and am in the process of moving to Germany after 13 years in the UK.

Where else you can find me

Fun stuff

Running is what keeps me sane. Since moving out of London to Woking in Surrey, I’ve discovered my love for trail-running and completed my first 50k ultra in 2015. Whether it’s a 30 minutes of six hours, time spent on the trails are so rewarding and revitalising. Often I spend my weeks day-dreaming about what route I could tackle on the weekend.

Work stuff

I currently work at Ascential Events as a Head of Product supporting global event brands like Cannes Lions and Money20/20 with their digital product needs.

In March 2017, I joined Kingfisher Digital where I worked on a number of digital tools to give home improvement customers across the group the confidence to start, plan and complete their home improvement projects. Our particular focus was the Kitchen Project, helping customers visualise the potential of the GoodHome Kitchen range, book a planning appointment in store, culminating in the creation of a millimetre perfect, 3D/VR design of their dream Kitchen.

In May 2015, I took on the role of Product Owner for Marketing in Sainsbury’s Digital and Technology Division. I was responsible for developing and managing digital marketing platforms and act as a the connection between Sainsbury’s Marketing and Digital and Technology teams.

Before moving in to Product, I headed up Digital Corporate Affairs for Sainsbury’s, where I was responsible for the planning, management and development of Sainsbury’s digital corporate affairs strategy. I made my professional start in PR at AOL Europe, culminating in heading up corporate communication for AOL Germany.

I completed a BA in Media and Cultural Studies at Macquarie University in Sydney and an MA in Media Administration at the Freie Universität Berlin.
