Born in Manila to German parents; raised in Singapore, educated in Shanghai, Sydney and Berlin.

I tend to write about digital bits and pieces (although not as much recently) and about longer runs (anything under double digit miles doesn’t count!) and divide my time between London and Woking.

I’m also on Facebook and Instagram, but I keep those locked down.

Fun stuff

Running is what keeps me sane. Since moving out of London to Woking in Surrey, I’ve discovered my love for trail-running and completed my first 50k ultra in 2015. Whether it’s a 30 minutes of six hours, time spent on the trails are so rewarding and revitalising. Often I spend my weeks day-dreaming about what route I could tackle on the weekend

Work stuff

In May 2015, I took on the role of Product Owner for Marketing in Sainsbury’s Digital and Technology Division. As such, I will be responsible for developing and managing digital marketing platforms and act as a the connection between Sainsbury’s Marketing and Digital and Technology teams.

Previously, I headed up Digital Corporate Affairs for Sainsbury’s, where I was responsible for the planning, management and development of Sainsbury’s digital corporate affairs strategy. I focused on engaging and communicating across all digital channels and audiences, inside and outside the business, with a particular focus on our corporate website, social media channels and blogger relations. As well as being responsible for Sainsbury’s digital corporate affairs agenda, I also advise subject experts from other parts of the business such as public affairs, internal comms and human resources.

I joined Sainsbury’s in March 2010 from AOL, where I most recently headed up corporate communication for AOL Germany.

I completed a BA in Media and Cultural Studies at Macquarie University in Sydney and an MA in Media Administration at the Freie Universität Berlin.
